Réduit is a suburb of the Moka town in Mauritius.
Most educational institutions like the University of Mauritius (UoM), the Mauritius College of The Air (MCA), the Mauritius Institute of Education (MIE), the Mauritius Examination Syndicate (MES) are all based in Réduit, making it a Center for Secondary and Tertiary Education. The governor's official residence is also at Réduit.
The town hosted the Indian Ocean Island Games in 2003, the African Junior Championships[1] and an annual international meeting.
